I HATE MY STEPMOTHER
Im looking advice on how to cope with a stepmother who has made it very clear that i am not apart of her family and that she hates me. My dad ive confronted him about it loads of times but he says that in a marriage the wife comes first, they will present a united front and that im overreactin to it! Now i hardly see my dad she makes him fee guilty for seeing me and she always makes plans for whenever he says hell come and see me. I havent been to their house in 2 yrs. Im living with my mum and she tells me to forget them. I cant that would that witch wins.
I picked the name wicked stepson cause she makes me and my angel step siblings out to be. After 2 years of them terrorizing me i decided to do evil things. I admit i have wound them up and did everything i could to split them up BUT IT WAS AFTER SHE MADE IT CLEAR WHAT SHE THOUGHT OF ME.
Heres some of the things ive done. I've interrupted them on when they have wanted to spend time time together and clung to my dad and gave the b***h evil looks when she wasnt looking. Whenever shes moaned about dad spending money to me i dragged them into long arguments about how she spoils her brats with holidays to spain, france, italy, greece, cyprus. I point out the fact she couldnt afford as my dad has far higher income that she does as he was a lorry driver and taxi driver. She only worked part time and i never go to go. I signed her up for freebies on wrinkle cream, shes in her 50s. The look on her face when she got them was priceless. Brought over food from weight watchers as shes not thin either and always made sure i left it on her place at the dinner table. Whenever i was out with the witch when we were in the shop or at dinner. I always addressed her as mum. Waiters, shops assistants all thought she was. She was not amused. Whenever she moaned about me to her friends when i was out of the room, they gave her advice like get my dad to discipline me and put your foot down. I always entered the room and did offered them a cup of tea and or did the hoovering or dusting. to make her look like a liar and it did. To stop them catching on i always offered them a cup of tea when they came in the door. Ive done loads of things
But my best one was when i always used her socks and trainers to train her jack russell dog sandy to play with. I always did when she was out. I took them out of the wash. They stunk but it was worth. I kept using those socks and i made a point of teasing her with them, used them to associate them with tug of war. I left them on the floor for her to grab and then i chased after her. It tooks a few weeks but whenever the witch was in the living room and putting on her trainers. She went for the socks and trainers. She bit the witch loads of times and was mad. I always had to leave the room cause i nearly choked on laughter
So im here on this forum on how i can annoy the witch now i hardly see them?
I would have figured you where female by your message and only realized you weren't after I finished reading. I say this because I figured you where a late teens girl with a problem with her step-mother due to personality conflicts/"your not my mom" type of emotions.
But you seem to just be a selfish, mildly jealous male with violence issues towards women.
You need to grow up and stop terrorizing the people around you, before you run out of friends and family.
So a 28-year old man has issues with his dad's wife. I had similar issues with my mother's husband (as well as my dad, but that's a different story).
Here's my advice to the OP: Grow up. You're an adult now, so stop acting like a vindictive little brat. You do not own your father, and it is obvious that he does not appreciate your attempts to drive them apart, so just stop it. Let them be happy, even if it means that you are not part of their happiness - it is no longer all about you, so get a life of your own without them!
They always wound me up about i was poor and they werent. That my dad was their dad not mine. I was called bastard, ret*d, and scrounger. I lived in council house with mum. Theyd push me against the wall, kick me, punch me and slap me. When i defended myself the b***h jumped to her precious angels she slapped me across the face and made me stand in the corner until my dad got home. She and her angels told them what apparently happened. I told him what happened but he said not to tell lies i told him THE TRUTH! He saw that i had bruises. Id refuse to come out of my room to have dinner with them but he always dragged me out. I refused to eat and i got slapped i got sent to bed.
At christmas my i never got presents from him. She purposely excluded me from holidays. Always said id screw it up and ruin it for them. Her and her brats always got designer clothes from him. Whereas i had to get mine from peacocks or tesco. At my birthdays i was always ignored no birthdayds no cards no cakes. She always made sure to have something planned on that day so he wouldnt see me. And she always made comments here and there about my mum about she was fat, a whore, slut, a golddigger and wanted my daddy back. That i always knew was a lie. My mother cant stand him.
When i got to 18 i didnt see my dad as much cause i was in college and lived with mum. I chose to distance myself from her and him.
Ive said to my dad about the way theyve been treating me for years but he always said it was my fault or making it up.
I have been on and off anti depressant cause of them. I did all those things because they made my life hell.
Dear OP,
It has been brought to my attention that our rash judgments and criticism of your position may have scared you away. But my insight tells me that you'll be back to argue the point through. If you want to hear less harsh answers, then I'd suggest that perhaps you find a hobby. "GETTING BACK" and revenge are typically anger coming to the surface. I doubt you where told that by your stepmother while you where in your teens - and if you where your amount of patience to hold onto that anger for so long is outstanding. There comes a time in every child's life where you have to step up on your own two feet and pay your own way/let the past go. I was abused by a step-father and his family most of my life but I'm on good terms with them. His grandparents used to lock me in a back room and lay on a cot for 9 hours a day while they babysat me because they didn't want to deal with me. And if I was brought out to eat I'd have to eat it all/they'd give me atrocious portion sizes so I couldn't possibly finish. When I didn't finish they'd simply dump the food on my head - and push me out the front or back door.
But what I'm trying to explain is people are jerks, but we're all human. Obviously your angry - but you seriously have to understand your situation for what it is. Your dad is a grown man with an obviously a lot of a patience who has defended you from his new wife... And your step-mother is a woman who doesn't want someone hanging around all the time that probably doesn't put forth much effort into improving their lives. Whether she is "evil" or not doesn't matter, but what your dad wants is important. If he decides to be with her - then you should agree and back away...
I mean, seriously... his wife is probably wondering when your going to come around a corner to harass her and is probably afraid of you being around her kids. You need to refrain from causing personal and/or mental injury on others, if you expect them to want you around at all.
Sincerely,
Nim

But continuing on a path of anger is only holding you back in life. You not only had them insult and upset you, but you've let them invade your thoughts and make you spend your time thinking about how to get back. Let go of it all, forget about them, don't contact them. Your life can move forward despite what they've done.
Or sit and ask yourself the same questions for another 10 years.

Okay. No need to shout.
I had a couple of stepmothers in my life (hell, my dad's getting married for the fourth time this summer). One forced my brother and I to sleep in the attic, even though there was a perfectly good guestroom for us to use and she would say horrible things about my mother, whom she's never met. Dad was only married to her for 6 months. The most recent step mother was just a spoiled brat, as were her daughters, her son was a good kid and I feel bad for him. I lived with my mother most of the time anyway so I guess it didn't matter.
You're 28 years old, what are you doing with your life currently? You mentioned going to college? Are you still in school or are you working now? Instead of rehashing the past, I would focus on improving your future.

Your not in a very healthy mindset. You should leave it and move on, perhaps start a family of your own or spend more time with your mother. Continuing down a path of anger won't lead to any great victory's, and if she does end up leaving your dad... then your dad would most likely hate you for it. If you tried to make peace and perhaps started talking to your father briefly, then down the line you'd have a better relationship and they might enjoy you over. But he's more than likely going to stick close to his wife, since thats really what people do....
I could understand if she was turning puppies into coats or something....

Ah. I was in college until may, worked from September til 3 weeks ago when I was let go. So yes, I am also unemployed. Looking for work is rough but I would suggest focusing your efforts on that. I would also venture that this hatred may seep into other areas of your life. So getting this resolved peacefully may help you let go and move on, which could help you in the job search as well.
