something to do with the the timing of the Seroquel and Abilify last night and what I ate.

Does anyone else have trouble feeling more ADD/ADHD symptoms with atypical antipsychotics? Some seems I feel more of those types of symptoms with them.

I'm not sure if I have trouble with focusing and hyperactivity when on antipsychotics (I've taken Risperidol before, but I've since discontinued it because I'm not schizophrenic and it gave me a seizure once), but I have noticed that I'm usually very lethargic when I'm off my Focalin (my ADD meds) and I'm rather hyperactive either early in the morning or late at night.
I'd say that my symptoms were a bit better when I took Risperidol, but I don't want seizures.

Wait... you get both ADD medication and antipsychotics? 8O Whose idea was that? Antipsychotics have the aim to lower your dopamine levels, because schizophrenia and schizotypalism are caused by elevated dopamine levels. But ADD meds like Focalin increase your dopamine levels and will likely worsen your schizophrenia symptoms.

I think it's counter-productive and dangerous to take both types of meds, and I would also question your diagnosis if you have been diagnosed with both schizophrenia and ADD. You should really talk to your psychiatrist about this, and you might want to get a second professional opinion.

I'm not sure who you were addressing--I don't think anyone said they were taking that combination, but I AM taking Seroquel, Abilify, and Adderall. Both my sleep specialist and my psychiatrist know and approved.

Depends on how much dopamine and WHERE. Maybe the location of dopamine increase from Adderall does not increase paranoid symptoms.

Technically, my dx might not be schizo-anything. Might be a ASD that causes delusions, according the latest dx from my latest psychologist.
