As I have said recently on here, my cousin just got back from Iraq a few weeks ago and he is doing wonderful. We chatted for a good hour about him being away from home and missing everyone. I actualy cried when I chatted with him. He said he is glad to be back but if he has to go back ( which is still possible) he said he is ready to go back in. He is def a hero in my heart as well as those who are willing to fight for our freedom.

Well that's great and it sounds like he's a real patriot. But what did he say about the situation there?

He said that while things are bad in Iraq, it is starting to look alot better. He is thinking about continuing his education so he can become a Army officer. I really think he would make a good one.

I think he is trying to be positive for in Iraq things are now like hell and getting worse by the month.

If your cousin is a good man then i hope he will be safe.

He's a hero in my book too. A friend of mine has been to Bagdad 2x. Hes says its not so bad, but has been shot at.

However while they are willing to fight for our freedom (and I applaud them for that), I cannot see how being in Iraq is doing anything for our freedom.
