This is a huge problem I have... I punish myself constantly... And ruin positive moments... Because of a boy who broke my heart; I just realized a new way to communicate with him again. I hope I will get over this today. Because I've been doing it every day for four months or five.

This describes me; I think punishing myself benefits someone somewhere out there: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/03/23/health/23mind.html

Does anyone else out there have this problem?

I think I can relate to it a little. It seems I sometimes allow things to go wrong, even if it means I end up with the worst of it. I often sabotage my relationships with people without really knowing why and I have often left jobs that I should not have left.

But on the plus side I am always looking for something to stimulate me and like to move on from things, so I can see it as a way of moving through life and experiencing lots of things.

I do both of those things too! Maybe you enjoy the solidarity!
