Well I've been really stressed out lately and I don't know what to do.

My parents, as much as I love them, don't realize that there's a limit to what I can handle, and I'm constantly pressing against that limit every week. My work is very hard, I have to deal with many children and disgruntled parents, and they're easy to piss off, so they're very stressful, and some nights I don't get home until 2:00 am and I end up being exhausted. Then, at school, I don't like doing group work because even though I'm vocal, people tend to eject me from conversations and I don't know how to reenter them, so I get really tired. I also have a lot of difficulty focusing and need to take frequent walk breaks in order to be able to concentrate. When I come home, I am so tired I have to sleep from all the stress, especially that one of my classes requires me to drive 25 miles to get there. With this schedule I can just cope, but now they want me to have an enforced sleeping schedule and they even have the audacity to call me lazy because I "sleep all the time". In addition, since my diagnosis, mom calls out every time I tell her to lean off of me a bit as "an excuse", when it's just that I'm really really tired and even though she could handle it at her age, I can't and I'm tired as hell.

A few weeks ago it met its apex in that I had to work 3 days in a row at this job, for first 10 hour shift, then a 9 hour shift, and another expected 9 hour shift (I was called off early on the last day), with no breaks. I was a zombie by the third day. To make matters even worse, the first day was caused by the fact that someone called off for a completely lame reason and she was just trying to get an excuse to not work. On the third day I was crying and had difficulty holding in my upset. While I've recovered somewhat, I still feel like I'm being held down, and the stigma from my parents about being lazy doesn't help.

So how do I approach this, because I feel really cornered in that I HAVE to take up these classes, I'm not allowed to quit unless I get another job and I have to also appear as if I'm being active in my life when I'm very very tired with two parents who just won't listen and are just a bit too traditional.

i know when i used to work full time with people, my being an introvert and needing alone time to recharge made me tired all the time. i used to be late for work because i absolutely could not get out of bed the next day after a full day of social interaction.

if you need the rest, insist on it and take your parents' criticisms with a grain of salt. you're an adult. you know what you need. take care of yourself, but don't necessarily expect everyone to be happy about it.

i know you're not lazy. i hope that helps.
