I am bawling right now because I just spent a whole hour typing a post for my Fakebook book report.I also added all the comments, edited some other posts so they fit the criteria, and I was done. I was so happy, but then all of it erased. Now I have to do all that over again. I am crying like crazy because its due tomorrow and its 11.09 PM and now I have to get up at 6:00 am to do it again.

No :( I was doing it through the Fakebook website, and when I go back it says "invalid URL"

OMG - I HATE that!! ! Duplicating the same effort truly is torture!

I know it's irritating after the fact, but next time I'd suggest typing it out in a word processor you can save then copy & paste.

Take a short break... a walk, a snack... GET AWAY from the computer for a while and clear your head! When you come back to take a second crack at it (don't forget the word processor!) it won't be nearly as irritating as right now!

I feel for you. From time to time, I loose things too. BlueMax is right, do it in a work processor and transfer to the web page. Good luck!

I absolutely agree with Blue Max! First take a break away from the PC. Then do and save the work in a word processing program first. Then copy and paste it in.

Things going wrong really stress me out, too, but taking a break helps some. Good luck with your report.

This reminds me of a time when my mother was working on an essay for her Master's and the power flickered. She lost 20 pages of work and had to stay up all night re-writing it.

Were you able to re-write it in time?

Ugh. I once posted a LONG post here on WP and when I went to hit the 'submit' my computer battery died and I lost everything. When I was on a dating site I had it happen three times in a row. If I didn't have bad luck I'd have no luck at all!
