In June 2012 I had official test's confirm I am indeed an Aspie. I was so relieved to find out the reason for my weirdness. One of the reasons I wanted this was because I was hoping some of my other diagnosis' would fall under the AS diagnosis.
Just before Christmas I moved from one city to another and now I have had to search out a new psychiatrist in order to continue receiving my medications. This new doctor whom I saw for less than 30 minutes seems to already think all my previous doctors are dumb as a box of rocks. She said I quote, "I don't think anyone can have that many things wrong with them." in reference to all the diagnosis' I have on file. She had a snotty attitude and basically told me I was lying. Her attitude caused me to forget all the answers for all the questions she was asking. She said she would "have to get to the bottom of this and find out what is going on." She also treated me like scum because I don't work.
I am honestly thinking of going back to the old doctor and therapist I had in another county although it will be at quite an expense to me. I will have my drivers license within the month if I can get the tester to call me back. (I lost my last one due to a lack of funds.)
In the last 20 years I have been, have had, or am:
Bi-Polar
Schizophrenic
Schizo-affective
OCD
PTSD
Panic-anxiety disorder
Borderline Personality Disorder
Aspergers
and a couple of other things I have forgotten.
While my mind is up for grabs I have developed some physical problems in my lifetime, some of which are:
Eczema
Fibromyalgia that turned into
Chronic Pain Syndrome
I have never had vices such as:
Smoking
Drinking
Illegal Drug Use
Prescription Medicine Abuse
Gambling
I grew up in an abusive household as did many of of us and because of these few facts I am being treated as if I tell stories.
