I was Robbed the other night

So may 10th at 3:30 in the morning at my work I was working graveyard shift at 711 stocking the cooler when a man with a metal baseball bat came in threatining me with a bat robbed me at the store trying to intimidate me while he banged his bat like a frantic idiot. I calmly walked up to the register as he kept banging his bat. I opened the drawer and gave him what was in the drawer it was only a couple fives and a bunch of 1s 30$ total! LOL we always drop all the 20s and keep our registers low in case these situations happen. He was dissapointed and was like F*ck!! He then demanded me to open the safe but I assured him that I have no access to the safe nor do my supervisors, he then ran back toward the enterence but then ran back in to try to open the refrigerator doors to the coolers which were locked lol * he didnt use his brain to just walk back inside the cooler to grab the beer from inside behind the back* he then went back up to me but maintained his distance about 8 feet away from me and asked if I have money on me and I said no *he didnt bother testing me after that and just grabbed 4 packets of cigarettes and ran back out the store. I called the cops immediatly once he was out of site. The cops showed up 5 minutes later and I gave a discription of the guy and the cops notified all the police in the surrounding counties to look for the guy. Funny thing is I wasnt even afraid of the guy probably because A.he was 5 10 and maybe 180 lbs soaking wet B. he was only armed with a baseball bat and C. He seemed more afraid of me than I was of him and was alone. I did have a surge of adrenaline going through my body though but that surge was also the urge of me wanting to grab the baseball bat from him and beat the s**t out of him but if I did that I would be the one in trouble so I just fought the urge and just let him have what he could. Anywho I doubt he got away he was also caught on camera and i got a bit famous in the local neighborhood since the incident. Was exciting in a way first time being robbed its kind of like being visited by santa claus only by a despirate frantic white dude dressed like a ninja with a baseball bat wanting to take stuff.

Yeah Im fine everyones been asking me if im ok. Ive dealt with worse people Ive actually had a gun point at me once. Ive been bullied and threatened by bigger people and been jumped several times. Ive grown up in bad neighborhoods and from the way the guy was he was an ammature and inexperienced in what he was doing. So I know hes not going to get far. Seriously who robs a store alone with a baseball bat? LOL I think he was getting nervous because I was bigger than him and was still all calm over it and he didnt press his luck by testing me if i had money on me I have a wallet and I said I had no cash he didnt bother he maintained an 8 foot distance from me. Im 6ft 1 this dude was 5 ft 10. I saw fear and desperation in his blue eyes. He decided to just grab the cigarette packets and run after that.

Most likely a crazed drug addict.You are pretty brave to work graveyard.
