hey guys <3

im sorry I haven't been around, have had a really bad experience and having trouble dealing with it.

someone I have been close to for years and have trusted with everything, has betrayed me in the wrorst possible way.

The details are horrible and deeply upsetting but long story short.... he touched me in places I didn't want to be touched without my full consent ( I had fallen asleep on my sofa and woke up to him doing...that)

he was my rock when I was raped years ago, and he knew how much it messed me up what it did to me.... I don't understand why????

im trying to put on a good front but inside im faling apart

I asked him why he did it his anwer was "to show you how much I love you"

but you don't sexually violate people you love </3

wtf???

scared ,confsed , feeling sick,
just wanna run away

fuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk </3

rox xx

Do you have people you can talk to about this? Someone that could comfort you. Then talk to them. Best friend or therapist or parents, someone like that.

Don't talk to this guy. If he did love you he would never have done anything without your consent. That was a really bad thing to do.

I agree with anotherswede, but also have to add; whatever you do don't blame yourself.
Too often people get manipulated into feeling guilt for allowing others to violate them, it is never your fault when someone does something you didn't want and that you are not happy about.
People take advantage of others when they are vulnerable, they shouldn't it's wrong, and it's not something you can or should forgive in someone that presented themselves to you as a friend.
People that truly care about you would not violate you, allow you to be violated, or manipulate you, whether physical, mental, or emotional.
For that reason I have nothing to do with my family.
You are lucky that you were able to see it for what it was, and not be manipulated into accepting it and allowing it to be a gateway to further violation.
Some would say you should take this to the police, but I think first stop has to be a TRUSTED friend or relative, then a counsellor or therapist, then if you are ready or feel it necessary think bout laying charges.
That sort of thing is just not okay.
Ever.

There's both black & white and grey here, but I wanted to mention the technical side first.

What he did was sexual assault, a crime. There's a famous person hiding from the law in the Ecuadorean Embassy in London for crimes of a similiar nature. You can go to the police and make charges against him. I can not predict the process or outcome, but a lawyer could advise you.

If it was a stranger or new aquaintence I would just say they are a felon. But because it is a long time friend I'll just point out some personnal opinions on the subject.

If you let me quote Elrond in 'The Lord of the Rings'

"Men are weak."

Many men are sexually agressive or criminal but even average, and otherwise dependable guys can fall into sexual misconduct or assault. If men have an Achilles heel it is in this area. Thats not to give it an excuse, just to explain it can happen to most any man. With this person, since you had a long period together it may have been simmering underneath, or he may have lost it all at once.

He has not helped matters with his answer, which does not admit guilt or apologize. At the minimum I would recommend you keep away from him indefinately and if necessary make sure he knows you will go to the authorities if he harasses you in any way.

Please press charges. If he will do it to you, he'll do it to other women. At least make sure he walks away from this with a record.

Were you in some kind of romantic relationship with him or could your friendship have been crossing over into romantic or did you do something sexual with him before or were you flirting with him or joking about wanting to do something? I'm only asking because that's the only way his answer could make sense; then it could of been due to a major misunderstanding about your relationship & boundaries like he was to trying to be kind of affectionate like giving a massage . Otherwise his answer is complete bullsh!t & he was totally tying to get a cheap feel & deserves at the very least you never seeing him again.
