overwhelming hobby

I have got to say that my OS hobby is overwhelming me, and that I haven't gotten any where with it yet. It also makes me feel blue, but what I will like to know is if osdev is a supportive community and a friendly one?

I asked what 'os' means. Probably means "operating system".
