For every sentence I say or write, someone instantly hate me

I am wondering what is the reason I can't say a word without people hating me.

I say I am not an atheist, and all atheists will hate me.
I say I am not a Christian, Muslim, Jew or anything that belongs to the major religions, and every religious people hate me.
I say I am not pro-Death Penalty, and half the globe hates me.
I say I am not conforming to a particular societal identity, and the rest of the world hates me.

Whenever I upload a YouTube music video with some renaissance-medieval inspired music I made myself, I get negative thumbs.
When I post a comment, people will attack me, and saying I am not clever, I am stupid and that it makes them not wonder that I don't have an education.

People claim I am a lunatic, a troll and some even say I am a disgusting rat.
That's because I can't support myself.

Why are people so cruel and what am I doing wrong?

Get yourself onto the L&D section, you might feel better - I promise you, you'll feel in good company

Hang on, I've read one of your posts, and lots of people are praising you for it. Doesn't that count?

Maybe the forums are just pants.

I often feel much the same way, although I have learned over the years that my feeling that people hate me and are attacking me is mostly all in my head.

I am over sensitive to criticism and am easily demoralized. The slightest negative comment can set me off into depression and just wanting to give up trying to achieve anything. I'm not sure what the root cause is: perhaps it's just low self esteem.

Or maybe it comes out of my strong dislike for conflict. Any criticism or attack feels far greater than might actually be intended. Who knows... Maybe this is what causes my dislike for conflict.

As I say, I really don't know the cause, but I understand where you are coming from.

I felt like that on other forums I used which is why I only use WP now. People can be pretty clickish sometimes & the only way to be liked by them is for you to be a conformist like they are. In my experience I'm better off not on forums where I don't feel accepted.

You can't please everyone.

I seriously doubt that every single person in the groups you mentioned hates you. Some of them haven't even met you!

Disagreeing with you isnt the same thing as disliking you.

You cant assume its personal.

To me, it seems like there are people who thrive on conflict. For me, it both confuses and frightens me, and I react with destructive withdrawal.

Ooh, I like Medieval and Renaissance music, especially dances. PM me your YouTube info if you want and I'll give a listen (eventually--I'm mostly trying to sneak online at work, so I don't get a chance to listen to as much as I'd like). And even if I wind up not liking the music, it doesn't mean I don't like you. I've never met you!
