I've gone to the doctor's, today. I've mentioned my bowel and bladder problems to him, and his assistant. I've also mentioned my weight, as well. He checked my intestines and my rectum, and he said that things are fine, and that I just need to do re-training. The thing that suprized me is that he didn't mention anything about my weight. It's pretty hard not to spot a 200 pound woman, I think. If that's the case, I might have to go down to only 185 lbs like before Christmas, instead of a sickly for me 145 lbs. I can't believe that he didn't mention anything about my weight. I guess that I carry it well. I'll never be the same, again after having the doctor's finger up my butt.

How long does re-training last?

hey CR, im glad to find out everything is ok, maybe it is part of aspergers, (developmental delays of fine muscles) and to you its bowels and bladder, i have found a website about the retraining hes talking about, and already you are doing part of it, the other parts would be going on a schedule (like training a puppy) and eating food that has more fibor in it.

http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency ... 003971.htm

http://www.medicineonline.com/reference ... aining.htm

hope these ^^^ help i knwo some of it sounds a bit more invasive then a finger. i really dont think you need that.

pm me if you want, ok?? sounds like your a bit under some stress

your welcome, i really doubt if it will get as bad as bad to need the one procedure on the first link (biofeedback)

if its ok with you, when i call nutrisystems next to ask were the order is, ill ask if they deliver to canada ok??

im not trying to put your eating habits or diet down but i really dot think a point system, and being charged money to attend meetings then get weighed in front of others is really ahh you know personal, i mean, you arent cattle ,humans need nutriants and certain amount of them and activity for a diet to work, also for fibor problem you can try metamucil or them other fibor suppliments to become more regular,

some fad diets ignore the nutriants people need to be regular and healthy, take curves for example, they think its healthy to do nothing but excersize on machines 3 times a week for 30 minutes and make or encourage the participants to shall out $$$$$ for being a member and eat nothing but proteins(fish, poultry, meats)

i know it can get better, just keep going on what i have told you and go on a schedule, this should reduce the accurances and help improve your self asteem towards you and the world,

please dont think im pickingm on you or dictating your life cockneyrebel, im just trying to help you get your insides to become regular with less or no problems.

hey CR

good to hear your'e doing ok!

i've had a similar doctors visit (for other reasons) as you have... cept when they finished puttin their finger in me bum... they had nothing very informative to tell me :(

for me, my problems are linked to my menstral cycle... so maybe also keep track of when these problems are happening.

take care :)

I went to the doctor today. I've been "purging from both ends". She wrote me a perscription for the vomiting but I can't keep it down long enough for it to work.

Hi me old china,
glad the Dr says you are ok. (I didn't know you had a problem). Could you have an intolerance to certain foods? Lactose/dairy intolerance for example could be a cause of diarrhorea (sp?) If you are taking dietary supliments (replacing meals with diet milkshake stuff) you could be getting lots more lactose than you are used to.

I'm pretty sure there's some policy among doctors now never to tell anybody they're overweight or fat. They get sued too much.

I have heard a bit about bowel retraining and heard that it is quite successful. Obviously it can be more effective when combined with medication if necessary, but overall, I think it's a good idea.
