people WTF??? just moaning

People are just so confusing. I don't know if I will ever get to a point where I can understand why people do or say the things they do. I have had a life full of experience, maybe too much and yet even though i spend heaps of my life immersed in social interactions I still don't understand how to belong or have any way of anticipating how people will act or how I will act trying to work the social crap out. I have read way too many books on psychology, sociology and philosophy in a vain attempt to comprehend people, myself included, yet still get the rug pulled out from under my feet daily. I can understand somewhat intellectualy, but never intuitively. Rant rant rant, I think I am going to go live in a cave with a sign outside saying beware of socially incompetent tithead!

I can understand people better when they're not being horrible to others. That's the sort of behaviour I don't get - especially when it's power driven; like at work when one person belittles another to get ahead. I can understand intellectually why they do that, but I don't know how they can bring themselves to do it emotionally.

What sort of behaviours do you find confusing?

Everyone finds me confusing. For a while back there I thought Asppergers may be the explanation but now I am beginning to doubt that too. I also find other people confusing most of the time. The only people who are not confusing are very small children.
