I'm curious to know if this sounds like possible manic/depression or bi-polar disorder. Hell maybe it's just regular depression ? My dad thinks I become manic because of the way I'd act all energetic, which he usually asks me if I could sleep that night. ...

Does insomnia also play a role in this ? I hate waking up after one to four hours of sleep or continuously waking up every hour as well as having difficulty getting out of bed after laying there wondering what is the point of getting out of it. Plus there's the random anxiety attacks (or panic?) where I'll get this impeding fear of doom because we've been having really bad luck in financial issues.

Also is there anything I could do about an inferiority complex issue ? :(

not sleeping is one symptom of bipolar illness. racing thoughts or speech is another. if you think you have bipolar disorder, a psychiatrist would be your best bet for answers.

i used to have low self-esteem when i practiced medicine. when i had no job, i learned that all people are equal and have worth based on just being human. i took this to heart and accepted that i may never have good social skills, but i am still a worthwhile person. my low self-esteem came from having a demanding dad. i had to learn to value my own opinion of myself above his opinion of me. a book that helped me is "the self-esteem companion" by mckay, fanning et al.
