Title says all, I'm just looking for some advice on how to cope with SAD. I haven't been formerly diagnosed with it, but speaking with psychologists and internet searches suggest that I have mild SAD. I usually avoid people outside of my family as much as possible and will sometimes go out of my way to avoid social interaction. I even get symptoms like increased heart rate and sweaty palms when I spend a lot of time say at a party or other social events. On the flip side I can't sometimes be very talkative, even around strangers. Ugh, life just gives me a run for my money...

You sound like a nice person. You don't have to avoid social interactions. Just be careful where you meet other people as crowded situations with conversations coming from all directions may overwhelm you. Try to engage people one on one and I think you'll be right.
