I think I'm done for. Everytime I go on the computer, my eyes glue themselves to the screen, and when I get off, my eyes feel warm, and I almost get to the point of freezing up. The only way to prevent this from happening is to adopt this obnoxious, self-centered, me-me-me-me-me attitude, but then I run the risk of losing my personality because normally, I'm kind and caring. But when I was younger, I used to be able to be kind and caring, yet at the same time maintain my energetic personality.

I'm also having trouble maintaining a stable bedtime. I used to go to bed at either 10:30 or 11:00 at night during the school year, and then woke up the next day feeling refreshed. Now, I keep on going downstairs to watch TV until 11:30, and then it becomes a struggle for me to get up off the couch and into bed.

I'm also having trouble letting go of the past. In seventh grade, my behavior started out fine, but then a few weeks into school, and I started getting my hopes up for the "Student of the Month" award, and then a counterstrike from the possibility of not getting the award sent me into a depressive episode, which in turn, made me have to leave the class to cry, and then leaving class to talk about my obsession with my aide turned into a bad habit. Today, I keep thinking that if I had only cried outside of class to let my emotions out, but didn't end up turning leaving class to talk into a habit, or if I had tried to bottle up my emotions, and then waited until I got home to cry to my mom about whatever was on my mind, then I rpobably would have turned out better, and maybe I would have gotten that award in middle school.

I need help here, because these problems are chewing away at my social skills and my happiness.

Uh, does anybody understand this post? I'm low on energy, stressed out over the past and school, and yet, nobody has responded with a way to help me here. Am I doing something wrong here?

First things first: WP has various times when a lot of users are online. You've most likely posted in the downtime when no-one's around.

Now, I'm not very experienced in this, so bear that in mind. Try bringing the obsession/me-me-me-me-me feeling and computing together. I did that a few days ago when I was obsessed with Star Wars for a bit and spent four hours on Wookiepedia.

If you have a TV elsewhere, try watching it there. If that doesn't work, try a less comfortable chair to sit on. Or, if what you want to watch has already been on before, you could do something like watching it on YouTube.

I'll leave it to someone else to help with the past problem, I don't know what to do about that one.
