Suffering these years of loneliness is like being held under water. I've had a few gulps of air now and then, just enough to have hope for another, not enough to stop the burning blinding pain.

I'm alone, drinking alcohol, and writing this message. It really is a scream for help, but no one can.

It's so true that people can't really help me...they can facilitate...but I guess the source of power has to come from me...I hope you feel better...

to qoute a little book I read a while back, but the sci-fi author, Harlan Ellison, to say I understand in my own little way your suffering, "I have no mouth and I must Scream!"

I would agree that a silent scream curdles the blood no less.

don't suffer in silence. go to your public library and start a riot. that'll get you noticed.

That sounds exactly like me. Spooky. If it makes you feel better, you're not the only one. If only there were more of us. Being so badly outnumbered makes it so that very few understand.

Good analogy!
