I am a b***h magnet.

I attract the nasty, mean, evil people to me, like I have some kind of sign on me that says "Be mean to me".

I started to explain in detail, but thought it would bore everybody. I don't know. It just seems like I get more than my share of crap from others, no matter how much I smile and try to be nice. And the people I know who are rude and narcissistic seem to get people to cowtow to them. Maybe I should just stop being so nice to everybody.

Either I'm a b***h magnet, or everyone else is a b***h.

I voted Other; I'm a psycho magnet!

I used to get bitched about at work cos I wasn't one of the 'water-cooler clique' but I have noticed also that if there's either a drunk or a leery oddball on the train he ALWAYS sits by me, I can guarantee it! So I'm an b***h/oddball/ drunk magnet, definitely!

I attract those who react to something in my demeanor that makes them think I am somehow dis respecting them. I suppose it is my aloofness while I am trying to express 'friendliness' that short circuits their NT social sense. They think I am challenging them to some pissing contest or other and are very ticked off when I don't 'follow up' by being even more challenging to them.
I just watch them puff up and get combative while I am confused at their reaction.
sometimes I have to get out and stay out, because words can't stop what my body language starts.

I have been a magnet for bad people and they have been destructive. A weird thing has been happening lately, though, and I have been a magnet for the same exact type of people but they are all nice to me and seem to gain something from my presence.

I am in an identical situation.

I have always attracted very negative, evil, destructive and often violent people. Lately that has begun to change and a higher quality of people are coming into my life. It must be a body language thing but other than that I have no explanation for it.

I seldom meet people who are more evil than I am. Maybe more willing to act on their evil, maybe less considerate, but none more evil.

People seem to think I'm wonderful and then get evil when I won't do what they want :(

I seem to only attract people who want to jerk me around.

I voted other because I do not believe that I have attracted more than my fair share of evil people; however, I do believe that I live in the town of absolute and utter bitchiness. I think that quiet people, or people that can be perceived as vunerable are easier - and therefore better - targets for those types of people. (We won't go into my solution for that. It's violent.)

I hope you feel better soon Aylissa.
