I've thought about this, and I feel that if my mother can't accept me the size that I am, than maybe I should become anorexic. I can live on fruits, salads, soup and cereal at my flat, I can eat meat once or twice a week, at my clubhouse, and I can eat the way I currently do at my parent's house on Saturday. I will enjoy it, too. I want to see how long it will take for my mum to catch on, as well. I will go from 210 lbs to 110 lbs in no time. I might even change my image to something more wholesome, like that of a Flower Child. They were very skinny.

Goodbye my big, jolly friend. The jolly, gritty Punker with the Cockney accent. Youi will become something that will be more accepted in both society and your imediate family. Sniff-sniff...Whaaaah...sniff sniff.

I hope not!

Food gives you energy. It does wonders for you.

I thought you'd know that!

It isn't a healthy way to lose weight. The "side-effects" (if they should even be called that) will far outweigh any perceived benefit.

If it is something that is really bothering you, you may want to talk to a doctor about getting gastric bypass surgery. Don't remember anything about it, or if it would be a good choice for you specifically, but that's what the talking to the doctor part is for. :P

My mum got on my case about my weight, again. She wants me to be a skinny, long-haired, wholesome Barbie Doll, like my kid sister is.

Please don't go down the eating disorder road, someone in my uni died from anorexia. Don't they say change has to come from within, you only have to change you for you not for anyone else. If you want to loose weight get professional advice and do so in a healthy manner. If you start starving yourself you may end up hating yourself a lot or more than you may already do, it's a vicious circle. The only thing I can suggest is cut out junk like sweet and chocolates and get some regular exercise in but talk to someone who can really help. Take care of yourself.

Anorexia alone is bad enough. Don't go anorexic out of spite.

What he said..

Eat healthily, take regular exercise, cut out all the chocolate and crisps. And don't worry too much about what other people think.
You probably know this already.

No don't become an anorexic. Just eat healthy and work out. Diet. Only have three meals a day and don't have seconds. Don't eat between meals. But since you have so much body fat on you, I guess it be good for you since you would live off of it for awhile but once you get down to like 20% percent, you can't just starve yourself anymore and hardly eat. And doesn't the weight go right back up again when you start eating normal again because of the way you ate. So eat healthy and get exercise. Go out and walk for a half hour everyday in the morning and in the evening. How do you get to places? If you use bus, that helps beecause you are walking to get to places. I lost some weight due to all the walking I done for the past four weeks. I don't even drive anymore. I still will when I need to get somewhere but my front signal needs to be fixed. I'm not gonna depend on my boyfriend anymore, I can do it myself once I start working. I can take it in and have it fixed.

I just got a little angry at my mum for making yet, another comment about my weight. Her sister and half of her brithers have weight issues, and yet, she blames me for my own. I am following the Nutrisystem plan. I've started three days ago, after getting groceries when I got payed.

I'm also being careful about not ofdering fast food or pasteries, when I go out with my friends, after I eat dinner.

I hate people who expect everybody to be perfect. My mum wants me to be tiny like my sister.

Thankyou, once again for talking sense into me. I need that from time to time. :P

Gah, you can't take out all the chocolate and crisps!

But exercise is the way to lose weight. I was concerned with my health (BMI just crossed over to obese), so seven months ago I started exercising daily. I've lost over forty pounds mostly by throwing exercise into the equation, putting me on the border between overweight and healthy. I also started eating more organic foods, eating more "normal" portions, and I don't really salt or butter my food. One real drawback to getting thinner is that your pants don't fit.

CR

the best thing (on a balanced diet) to do is eat a little but eat often.

have smaller meals but have lots of healthy snacks in between

also it's good not to eat too late at night. generally try not to eat like 2-3 hours before sleep. eating right before you go to bed doesn't help with digestion plus you don't use the energy so...

i don't want to hear you use that A word again!

eating is yummy

That isn't anorexia, that is proper diet! Anorexia is simply not eating, and it is one of the worst things you can do to your body!

Sounds like a good plan. Don't expect miracles though. Just try and set very easy goals, and the bigger ones will become easier through them.
