My Sister, The Biggest Wench In The Land
I'm just posting this here to vent.
Barely a few minutes ago my sister was playing Call of Duty and just to set things straight here, she sucks. She is "new" and so it is understandable. This is not why I am enraged, becuase that's to be expected. What I am enraged about is the fact that becuase I am a better player, she has added that to a long list as to why I am beneath her as a human being. So far this list includes:
1) The fact that I'm autistic. She hates autistic people. Always wants sympathy from others from "dealing with them", which is just being in the same room with them regardless if they are doing something that bothers her or not. If she knows someone is autistic, automatically she doesn't like them. Maybe it's becuase of me, I'm not sure. If it is, I find it quite stupid to apply a general hatred just becuase I react to her stupidity a certain way. I personally think it's not becuase at her church group there is an autistic child there and she thought his reaction was "cute". Regardless later that day as I tried to explain something to her in order to help her out she blew me off and said "I don't care, I had to deal with an autistic child today so leave me alone". In response I started trolling the crap out of her.
2) The fact that I have less friends than she does. Though if she wants to define people she hangs out with and secretly walk over to me and say things like "I feel bad for you, ********** is so annoying. I hate her. etc." as 'friends' then by all means, have more dear sister. I have few trusted friends who if I was stuck on a life boat for 10 weeks I guarantee that I'd have a good time. They like me for who I am, even though we don't talk much but when we do it is heart felt. I feel respected for the most part (I do not have similar feelings with my family). In comparison, my sister changes every time she meets new people and (surprise, surprise) her styles just so happen to change to what these other people's styles are. Which leads to...
3) She is a conformist. I absolutely detest this one. No matter what it is, she tries her hardest to fit in and will not learn from her mistakes (more on that next). Her styles and beliefs and likes and whatever else matches the people she hangs out with. They change every year. Her actions copy everyone else's. If I'm hungry and I eat a bowl of cereal, and she just so happens to walk into the kitchen she wants a bowl of cereal too. I did a test. For one week straight I ate a bowl of cereal and then a different meal within visual range and after a minute she comes in and does the same. The week after that I waited and no one was in the kitchen that week at similar times. In fact the milk that week got wasted becuase no one used it.
4) She is an idiot. I don't mean this as an opinion. This is a fact. She is an absolute idiot. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result every time. Well with my sister, she does the same thing over and over again and wonders why she keeps suffering. I explain better ways to do something and she won't listen, won't accept it, won't think about it. I don't think she thinks at all. It's painful to watch. Like a bird getting up and crashing into a window again and again.
5) "Independent" in the wrong ways. She'll ask you for help, and when you give it to her she'll ignore you. She accepts no help, even when she asks for it. When you refuse to help, you are then tattle-taled on to the benevolent dictators for life (parents) who scold you into helping her. Which causes the cycle of her ignoring you which you were trying to avoid in the first place. Instead if I help, I do it in a way that pisses her off. She also has a habit of attempting to do something, failing and then not accepting responsibility for failing. She will blame anything. Now, I could understand blames that could actually affect your performance. Playing Mario-Kart and the controller not registering which is why you lost? Understandable. Blame the older brother who is actually at school and no where near you and has no idea what's going on becuase he doesn't like you for you failing to complete something? Ridiculous. If you require her help, she will blatantly refuse it unless she wants something from you like say, a new Xbox Controller that she doesn't need becuase she already has two of them. This also leads to...
6) Untrustworthy. She lies, steals, cheats, gossips, backstabs, and can't keep secrets. She'll ruin your property becuase it is now "hers" or just has no idea about what she's doing (and never will). She has stolen so much money from me, that all my important stuff has to be hidden. Luckily the stuff that she doesn't understand can be left out becuase if she messes with that the parents for once will be on my side and she'll get punished so hard and swiftly... I'll admit my morals are questionable, but hers might as well be nonexistent. In effect, I have basically gone straight to "ultimate options" in terms of dealing with her. In the words of an analogy, she plays guerrilla warfare. She just plays dirty in general. So in response if she starts something, I straight up end it with the ultimate red button. Which causes her to cry and run up to her room stomping and screaming and slamming doors to which my parents start yelling at me even though they should spend that energy on getting one of their kids under control. Not to say I'm complaining about her tactics, as all is fair in love and war. What I'm complaining about there, is that she's starting a war in the first place when she should just mind her own damn business and can't even finish what she starts. She is the biggest hypocrite you will ever meet. I would forgive her for it if she had an actual reason such as "she can do something better" but she has no reasons (and 99% of the time can't do anything better).
7) We are opposites. This isn't as big as the other things but still you'll see what I'm saying. I don't talk much, she talks too much. I don't party, she loves to party. I don't socialize, she'll get up in your face. I enjoy music in every possible way, she has no understanding or respect for it. I sometimes show off, she'll gloat even when she has nothing of which to gloat. I like excellently designed things, anything sloppy that just works is good enough for her. Any trait I have, in general you can reverse it and there you will have my sister. The mere differences are really just not enjoyable, they're not like 'I hate you for being different'. What I hate is that she is like that. If you are different from her she'll straight up not like you just becuase you're different. Unless it's cool to be a certain kind of different. Then she'll "like" you.
I can not stand her. I hate her absolutely. After all the stuff that she has done to me and just does in general she doesn't sit well with me at all. If she fell in a ditch and needed me to save her, I'm sure the thought of leaving her there would be the most glorious option. Instead though, I continue to pull her out of that ditch and regret it every time. This isn't a case of your sister is immature or just a lost soul. This is a case of your sister is a terrible person and no amount of empathy can switch my views ever becuase she sucks.
