I could write nine paragraphs tonight about the divisions throughout my social life or whatever other adversities people might relate to, instead I had an idea. I've been lurking everywhere in the hallways of WP trying to gather enough perspective to handle everything in my life that's inside ourselves, not a calendar, when I need to forget my workload for three minutes I check back on here in hopes one everyday survival tale or another is looking up. Sometimes they're about people in my life (at least I hope so) and equally often, I'm reading and clicking refresh until I know someone I've been talking to for years on here finds some reconciliation. Too many threads I've enjoyed here have been sounding boards, I want this one to be an echo chamber. We all need to kick back and share wisdom.

I turned 22 today and because I'm cberg, did everything in my power to skip the occasion. Someone thought that was sad, to them I suppose it was. I meanwhile spent most of my day finding myself thankful I know anyone I can talk to about these things. I hope all of you are OK, even if the mystery of what everyone's up to can be a worrisome thought. Even if empathy works backwards for aspies, I'm pretty sure it's worthwhile. I hope NTs can make themselves at home here too.

Happy Birthday! Birthdays are overrated anyways :P. Agree on the other notes.

Thanks, for all I know posting my next thread here could be more significant though.

I always get scared of imposing in case other people feel obligated to do something when they were busy. I'm never sure who keeps track of dates like birthdays (like from Google or Facebook) and who has more pressing matters. Maybe there are circumstances where small personal occasions can form meaningful celebrations but I'm more a host than a life of the party...

This other thread is a prime example of what I'm talking about, maybe it can satiate you. I was born on the start of the school year, so even now that I'm not in school (for the moment), my life is equally chaotic. I'm trying to focus on a happy year by any means...
