I feel that my emotions are just causing too many issues and I am too sensitive to be here.
So it is best I am not on this forum anymore. I just bring other people down.
All the best.

I actually enjoyed reading your posts.

And that's saying a lot - especially from me. Hope you come back when you feel better.

Don't let the door hit you in the ass. Only kidding. Stay. Be here now. At least until you've found the grail. No, don't tell me, you've already found the grail and now you're going to high-tail it out of here and leave us to fend for ourselves. Seriously now. Think it over. If you still feel the same way next week, go in peace. Sweet dreams in the meantime.

Today is Good Friday. This may or may not be of interest to you. For Christmas this year my husband gave me an ugly little cross. By this I mean it was a small, non-descript little piece of jewelry that I would never choose for myself. I didn't want to hurt his feelings so I pretended to like it. I thought about suggesting that we take it back and get something that appealed to me. Something prettier, larger, more ornate. Then I began to think that maybe this ugly little cross was meant for me and I should accept it and wear it proudly, for my husband's sake if for no other reason. Then I thought further that we can't all carry the cross of our own choosing. Sometimes we have to accept the cross we are given. By whomever. And maybe we don't carry the same cross forever. We can put a cross down and pick up another. Or maybe one will be lifted from us and carried by another. Maybe I can carry your cross and you can carry mine. Maybe every cross that each of us carries is one and the same. The way of the cross is the same for each of us no matter how different our crosses appear to be.

I hope you mean that you are quitting just the Haven and not WP...
I hope you stay and feel free to express yourself in all the forums in WP...

I'm shocked!
Are you leaving because we're bringing you down or because you feel you're bringing us down? I'm confused.
Don't do it.

I do not feel that I am of benefit to the forum, to answer the question. My emotions, most likely due to bi polar, are swinging wildly right now and I feel that sooner or later, that will alienate me from everyone anyway and people will get sick and tired of my whinging and moaning and my outbursts when I see rejections. I find my mood embarrassing and humiliating considering I am a logical person the rest of the time. Because I have no support in my real life, and no friends or even people to talk to, everything spills over onto here because it is the only place I have come to feel somewhat accepted. I feel that in time, that will change and I dont want to be here for the time when everyone really starts resenting my depressive, pessimistic presence. :(

I'm confused as well. If it's us bringing you down - please do step away. This is a tough place to take sometimes. I'm often crying when I read others posts, and realize that the burdens are on all of us. On the other hand, those of us who come in here to help know full well what to expect - and must get some sort of benefit out of trying to help. So, don't leave just to save us some pain; we must be masochists anyhow.

The thing is, it's OK...
It's OK to be resentful and pessimistic and express them...gosh, if we can't express our negativity somewhere what would become of us?
I don't see anybody disliking your resentment or pessimism... even if there were some people who disliked them, there are so many who are supportive... there are many who like you and enjoy reading your posts...many people find it meaningful to read your posts and I am one of them.
I think its important that you feel accepted here...I feel happy for you about that...

I agree that if you feel embarassment or humiliation, it is important that you try to change things so that you don't have to feel that way anymore...however I think that it should be possible to find the point of balance where you can express yourself and get positive results without having to leave the forum all together....of course, I would respect your decision...but just to let you know that many people care...
