Sometimes, my path seems so dark,
It is as if I am destined to walk alone,
And as the sun hides behind the trees,
I cry out to above, I just want to go Home
Cos this world is too harsh for me,
Here is a place I can never be free,
And each night I cry out to the moon,
Help me to know what I can do


Each day I am dying deep within
As I watch a world that won’t let me in,
I am a prisoner, trapped in my mind,
And you just can’t reach me,
Why do you even try?


Sometimes, I look inside myself,
There is only sadness and regret there,
So many years trying, just trying
To find that elusive one who knows;
Just knows how to find me in here.
Where is your hand, I cannot reach
So I push you away and die some more
For the next day I try, you won’t be there.


Each day I am crying deep within
As I make the same mistakes again,
I am a captive, trapped in my heart
And you just cannot see me,
Why do you even try?


Sometimes, I hide away inside my head,
And pretend I don’t care as you wave at me
Cos I know it is only a matter of time
Before you stand there waving goodbye;
Just the same as it has been always before.
Look at me, this is me here, standing apart,
Sobbing to the skies as the clouds move in,
Lightning, come strike me, I cannot win!

That is a beautiful song. My eyes are tearing up right now. I can relate to it so much. Okay, now I am crying. It's so beautiful.
