After my father survived a heart attack and is now back at work, the reaper decided to claim somebody else in my family by heart attack. A cousin of mine from my parents' generation named Scott was recently found dead. He was someone I was starting to look up to since he was an artist. He enjoyed making abstract expressionist artwork and his art is pretty good. I even kept one framed in the living room. It was a tribute to the rock band Kiss. I even did a college paper about him. I've known him for over a year now and now he's gone.

Sorry for the loss. I hope he didn't suffer when he passed away.

I once passed through Hagerstown on my way to Ohio.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss. Sometimes it claims the best of us.

This Friday, I'll be attending his funeral. It'll be the 2nd family funeral I've ever been to.
