It's been freaking me out more & more lately when people pick up on how I feel, because I'm not trying to show them 85% of the time. Aspie girls say they're always trying to blend in like chameleons :colors: - ultimately it's hard to see how what I'm doing is much of any different. What good is being an open book if I'm inherently misunderstood?

I guess I need better camouflage or better looking camouflage.

Why do you not want people to know how you feel?

How do they indicate that they know how you feel?

I'm inclined to assume that all NTs are able to sense our feelings but that just isn't true. They may guess and if they know you well they might guess correctly but ultimately no one except you knows what you are feeling. Sometimes you won't even know what you are feeling.

Exactly, all too often everyone else can read me just as well as I can. I guess that's why I'm hammering this out on my cellphone, it's easier to stay concise. It's kind of like how I prefer being in a car with tinted windows, the darker the better.

It's not always that they know me well or that I'm too blunt, people just make all kinds of random guesses, so sometimes they act on my thoughts before I can. Dunno if that's considered normal communication on my part, it seems like deja vu over & over again.
