Pretty amazing how FB knows who all I've bumped into, but all of my army friends are posting up pics of the deployment and liking it up and down. There's a handful of people there who I was close to, and even their every other post is a reminder of the deployment, or a "like" of someone else's. There's usually a few political jabs in the mix.
I have no intention of hiding where I stand on things, including that living in the past is a sure way to be miserable. Still, it feels like I lost something, that I don't deserve to have any connection with any of them because I feel different about the deployment and politics. I feel so empty, but if I had to say what I didn't believe in, I'd feel pretty bad about that.
