I have being trying to post something for a few days but I'm really frustrated with my lack of articulation.

I've been really low again and after some anger issues and self harming over the weekend I'm back on medication after 8 or 9 months free. I now have a new doctor and he seems nice and willing to help with more than dishing out pills.

Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to do something useful for a change. If you are feeling the same way, I hope tomorrow is better for you too.

JSYK, what you have articulated in the past has been very precious to me.

One day at a time for now :)

Is there a nearby park or a nice open green space, somewhere you could bring your dog for a walk?

Thanks for your kind words Raleigh.

The dog's not real, at least not to me, and no to the parks but it's very true, I should get out more.
Tomorrow is now today and it might even be a nice day.

Hope you feel better. It does help to get out in the sun.
I went thru a bad spell recently and didn't post for months. It takes energy to put thoughts into words and I just didn't have it.
Take care of yourself and don't push yourself to hard.

Sorry to hear you've been having a bad time. Your humour has been missed here.

I'm sorry to flat out reject the advice here. I really don't like sitting in a park, I have been homeless before and it just reminds me of those times and the fact that it seems never too far from my reality.

I would prefer to be in a natural setting, there is a forest I go to, but that would require either a train journey or a longish bike ride through some crappy parts of town and bleak industrial wasteland. I don't want to deal with either of these options right now.

I have a long term plan, and the only way to get there is to deal with the immediate mess, no way to avoid it.

I, myself, don't believe direct confrontation with yourself is always the best way out of situations.

You need to take a break from yourself sometimes.

That's exactly what I do....go through the industrial landscape to get to the beautiful parts---both metaphorically and actually.

Ever see the series known as Seven-Up? There was a guy named Neal on it. He was stuck in a morass, schizophrenia being one of its features. He wandered around the British Isles.

When he landed in the Shetland Islands, he decided to hang out a while. He took a break from himself, so to speak, by getting into the local theatre.

Subsequently, he left the Shetlands, and became something of a politician. He was elected to a few places on councils (even though he was on Benefits). He is still doing relatively well now.

Until tomorrow I'll just keep moving on"

It'ss lyrics from "The Littlest Hobo" in case you didn't know but I think you probably do.
