No, I'm not depressed.
I think the conept of the future being like some ascending bar graph is one of the biggest hoaxes in history.
We are told to plan, study, better ourselves, work, save etc so we might have this glorious future life.
When do we arrive at this ideal future?
When we retire after a lifetime and we're too old and sick and tired to enjoy it?
I've worked hard for most of my life for what?
Time is cyclic, not linear.
The planets go round, the clock ticks away.
I will die and others will be born.
There is no future to work towards because the future doesn't exist.
And history means nothing at all.
You may argue with me but I don't see a point in anything, really.
Realising life is pointless is quite a liberating experience.
