I read the book about ten or fifteen years ago. Very good book. The topic was written from a viewpoint so dark that I finally had to get rid of the book. I would say it's worth reading, but don't read it all at once.

There is a 2009 audio-book version on CDs and a DVD as a radio play featuring Andy Serkis (The Hobbit's Golum) as the story's primary character, Screwtape. It is an amazing production!
