It was so nice for a while. Now my neighbor is playing loud music and banging his front door. I spoke to my landlord about this behavior, and he in turn spoke to the neighbor, who made all sorts of promises. Now here we go again. This just triggers my PTSD horribly, and think if I were a man, I'd go over there and beat the sh-- out of him, and then throw his stereo out the window, followed by him and who ever he has visiting. I'm sick of feeling like I live next door to a freaking nightclub! And I'm sick of him. If I call the law, they will discover that everyone over there is smoking pot, and probably someone will be arrested. Then they'll become real enemies.

hmmm what if you hide all the pot stuff...where do you live by the way...
some countries are easier on pot than others

I identify so well with this... I hope it improves, I know how distressing the noise can be having issues with it myself where I live.

I don't mind it during the day...but at night is a new thing

I live in Florida. The last time I called the law on some noise makers, the cops came and arrested someone because when I looked out the window, they had a small bag of pot on the roof of the car while they searched this person. I felt bad, because I hadn't meant to get them in that much trouble. And then these neighbors turned really nasty, and I ended up moving. I noticed that in Florida, they are really hard nosed about drugs, even pot.

okay if your gonna call the cops be sure all the pot and paraphenalia is hidden away so they son't find it!
clean up the house and use lots of air freshiners then make the call

I don't mind so long as it is good music.
My neighbours have bad taste so i just pity them.

It's not me who smokes pot! I was talking about the neighbors.

It could escalate into an even worse scenario, if I call in a noise complaint, and the cops arrive, find pot on the people there, and one or two get arrested, and then get angry with me. It's happened before.

ohhh...well you should all get together and make up a plan-do what I said-all of you, then call the cops

Mang. My neighbours ride in next door at 2am with their Civic (NB: 4" fart can welded onto exhaust, at least one sub in boot) blasting music and...well...generally being as noisy as the average riced-out Honda.

They often have drunken karaoke nights too...work nights, of COURSE.





Well guess what.

I have a sub in my car now too

Apparently people don't like their own medicine.

Particularly when it's with a VERY good sub (read: LOUD), when they're trying to recover from their hangovers.

All I have to say...make sure you know when they're hung over.

Then CRANK IT THE FARK UP.

One of my neighbours had a car alarm which went off every time someone looked at it.
I paid some local druggies to smash it up it.
They did a good job.
