I have said this SO MANY times before , but someone , PLEASE , help me with improving my computer skills !
I need a HUMAN BEING besides me !
I PROMISE , I WOULD NEVER ASK FOR MONEY OR MATERIAL HELP FROM ANYONE WHO HELPED ME ON THIS . I SWEAR !

Can you be specific on what you need help on?
Normally, when there's something that I don't know how to do, I look it up on the internet and find a manual, guide, or tutorial which explains everything. Much of my computer knowledge comes from experience and just playing around and exploring things on my computer.
Also, please use less capitals.

...Last night , I was at a site on my AT&T where I saw a link to hear al old radio drama ~ I did manage to download it , hearing it and preserving it on my AT&T (though I did't really need to keep it) - So , I kind of thought " Well , hey , maybe I am starting to get the hang of things , some , anyhow " and tried to download some other things ~ Which failed miserably .
Maybe it's inherent problems with the AT&T (which won't even sign into my long-established Facebook and Yahoo! - maybe it's F and Y's reaction to it , but -) , but...........

What exactly are the basics?
Is it your laptop/computer, the AT&T thing that you mention. What is that exactly. Is it a laptop or desktop. I am guessing a laptop.
Are you having problems with it? is this the "basics" that you mention?
I do not know exactly what you mean by basics. In the U.K they have a scheme or used to have a scheme where they tried to make everyone computer literate. That means completing a course at a college free of charge that would educate you on some of the more common computer software like emails, spreadsheets, word processing etc.
I do not know if that is what you mean, but it would be a good start to define what you are looking for.

...First , it's an ultra-low end AT&T smartphone - apparently considered a " message phone " by the retail people , not a " smartphone " .
It does get the Internet , which I thought was the definition of a smartphone.........

Ok, so you are using a smartphone to get the internet. Now, what are "the basics"? what is it that you want to learn?
I personally find a lot of the time that I am mucking about trying to get something to work, if not then I google the problem. Sometimes I find an answer, sometimes not.
List some of the things that you want to know and we will go from there.
Do your best, whatever comes to mind, common problems you are having. I think I read somewhere that you are having problems finding your posts on your account. I will see what I can do there.
To find your posts, go to top right of this page where it says "My Account", click here. On the left there should be an "Overview" button/label, click this. There should be a number of headings, one says "Your activity". Under this it should show a clickable button that says "Your posts". If you click this it will bring up all your posts, then you can book mark this page. It will automatically update any additions to your posts.

...I know some things you need to know to work in librarys' computers and so forth , but theyr're other people's , not mine ~ For knowing , for example , how to do , even in this homeless/semi-homeless position , how to do things with smartphones/tablets ontpo computer , I'd need someone to show me ! Please ?
