Broken wrist
I've broken my wrist, need surgery, and it'll be 4-6 months until I can even think about lifting light weights again or do bodyweight exercises/parkour/climbing. Yay, those were my favorites.
Maybe in 1-2 months time I can do light bike riding again, I can jog and walk but it's just not the same.
I want to gain muscle, the most effective way is by weightlifting and calisthenics.
Exercise is one of the only things that makes me happy anymore and in a few mere moments has been swiftly robbed of me.
The other thing is making music but I've lost my creative spark months ago and can't do it now anyway with only one available hand even if I make it on the computer. It takes 3x as long to type alone.
Video games also make me happy but aside from maybe the Sims there's not many I can play anymore
At least if I had a wonderful loving girlfriend and actual friends, maybe I'd be able to cope better. I've been desperately lonely for the last 2 years.
I can't find the referral paper by the doctor to get me to see a therapist and I don't want to f*****g take my damn anti-depressant meds.
I already stress enough in my daily life due to my severe anxiety disorder, I was already severely depressed, but this has made both 10x worse.
It's harder to do anything in my daily life.
Why couldn't that injury have just killed me?

I'm sorry to hear that. An injury like that can stick a monkey wrench in the works. Try to hang in and remember it won't be for long; it will heal and though you'll have to go slow you can get back to all those activities one day.
I know it's easier with love in one's life though, but try to shout a mental "Stop" to that thought; I've been there and even just that thought makes something more difficult. Hang in there.
