I am the worst nightmare of the school authories.

I am intelligent, know how the system works and will do battle for my kids. I am assertive without being aggressive. I am calm when I deal with them (although I feel emotional). In other words .... I scare them!! !! !!

Kilroy has christianed me .......... Lady Evil! He has given me a motto (see my new signature).

I need a new avatar - smiling bellydancer is not very intimidating!

So now I must refer to myself in the third person (as all super heroes do).

Lady Evil is here to do battle for those who need my help. Bring forth your problems to me and watch Lady Evil at work.

Just I hope not too stupid a question, does your school year run differently than in the US because of the seasonal differences I mean? Our summer school break is your Fall/Winter no?

Not a stupid question at all!

Our school year runs differently. The kids start in late January and finish in mid December. They get 1 week holiday at Easter, 2 weeks in June/July, 2 weeks in September, then 6 weeks in December/January.

It's winter here - but has been 24 degrees during the day - lovely!

A friend on another forum said it was a bit hard to take my rants seriously with the smiling belly-dancer!

I don't think I'll change it though - don't know!
