Now I know that from time to time I feel left out, but I think one of the best ways that I could be a friend to you all is by being here to support you. Now I'm only high functioning with my AS and on a scale from 1 to 10, my AS is a 1. The truth is, in the real world I feel content even without proper friends or girlfriends.

But to the point, I joined this website partly because I wanted to be supportive and helpful to those who were going through a harder time in life than myself. You see, I want to be an Autism therapist. So, I'm creating this forum for those that would like my advice in any way. I will do the best I can to be a friend. Besides, it wouldn't just be MY advice but advice from other folks here as well. I know that this is probably annoying, pointless, and possibly plagiarized from the scale of feelings forum, but I want to have more of a chance to be helpful and make proper friends.

So remember, I'll always be here for you!

Well, maybe we all can be of some use here. Let us all use this forum to help those who are depressed, need some company, or need some advice. Like I said, it doesn't have to be just me. I can't be logged on all the time, you know?

Thanks Yoshie and Kilory.....I already spilled
my guts in the wrong place and was told in
no uncertain terms to "get over myself" and
keep "it" to myself...So many forums, so many
choices. :?

Everyone will be accepted here in this forum. This is where friends can join in and support those that are having problems with depression, society, stress, and other things. It's not just me that will help, but everyone else as well. Think of this as an online support group. Unfortunately, I won't be able to use a computer for the weekend. My family is going on vacation.

Well if you're all in a helpful mood I could do with some help.

I'm feeling fed up with judgemental, stupid people at the moment.

I'm tired of being told by people who should know better (schoolteacher, doctor) that my anxiety is the cause of my children's behavioural problems - er idiots, they have AS!!

I can't imagine what you guys must go through with people judging you.

Here's for a more tolerant society.

Keep it to yourself. :P

Actually, I realize that I'm not sure it you
are empathizing, or as I first guessed, admitting
to telling people these things.

Well.....all I know is that I was told I shared too much,
and I felt sorry because it seemed I made others feel
bad by sharing too much info.....I just say what comes to
my mind sometimes, and don't realize that others might not
want to hear or care what I have to say or what happened
in my past. I don't like to hear about bummers or sad stuff
all the time either, but I do see at this site there are many
people who have depression and self esteem issues.

It made me feel good to know there was someone
willing to put up a thread where people could post about
sad or negative stuff if they wanted or needed to, and not
be told that it was not the place for it. I just get confused
about what to share and not to share, and what the rules
are in places where I visit. I have this thing about rules.
I really like to follow them. and get anxious when I don't
know what they are. I also don't want to be where I am
not welcome.
