I'm afraid about my leg
I had injured my leg and I stayed three weeks with it immobilized, on Thursday I took the cast off but my leg is hurting so much and I can't walk properly, what hurt more is my knee, my leg is in a weird position. The doctor had said it was ok and told me to do physiotherapy, I had one session... but I'm so afraid and anxious about it, my father has lost his leg recently and it was a real difficult process and going thru this thing of a injured leg really brings me down
I broke a limb once and was in a cast for a few weeks and it hurt more after the cast was removed than before the cast was put on. The reason is, the limb was immobile and the muscles and tends and ligaments stiffen during that time and the cartilage in the joints is deprived of nourishment because it does not have a blood supply and relies on the movement of the joint to "breath" nutrients into and out of it. I was told the proper physical therapy to do for it and the pain and stiffness resolved within a few more weeks. I had an impression in my skin from the inner sock of the cast for about three weeks.
I can't explain it properly, but I just can't keep it on a natural position?? I made a draw to try to explain but I'm not very talented and also I honestly couldn't understand well how my leg is, I can't look too much to it

I hope it will get better soon, I'm getting too nervous

You may need a brace and crutches for a few weeks, along with physical therapy. I had a brace for a few weeks after my cast was removed.

I'm using it :/ I rent one, I should return it tomorrow but I'll need to extend
Its normal for a limb not to be normal once a cast is removed.
I can understand your fears. But please do the therapy as prescribed.
I went there on Friday, they just used a machine, like when you do an ultrasound exam and another one that make it warm... she told me it was too swollen to do any exercise, and she told me to put ice twice a day and also a cream for it. I didn't used the ice on friday, yesterday I used it only once but today I used twice. Now I'll return on Tuesday.

These things do take time. Believe me, it can be very frustrating! Just do the therapy and also use ice and medication to help the inflammation go down.
I understand your fears but am sure it will eventually be 100%.
