I've been struggling with people from school/forums/whatever ditching me time after time. The only friends I have are my Mom, my cat and my sibling's cat. Some people act like cats aren't "real friends" but guess what? I never have to worry about the cats ditching me, verbally insulting me and they are there for me, always. I once said my Neopets kept me happy but guess what? People basically talked me into giving up my playing Neopets.

Then I said that clothes make me happy but a bunch of people said, "clothes don't make you happy". That's like saying my video games don't make me happy, the music on my iPod doesn't make me happy, reading fiction books doesn't make me happy. Some people have this, "money can't buy happiness mentality" but in this world, money does even if your paying for a stupid freaking road trip or food.

I gotta go my cat is on my desk. He's my friend

Avoid those who insult you or abandon you. If your cats stick around, keep them. Instead of cats, my friends are books. I can count on their story being there for me, and they don't judge me.

LOL...you've ditched me a few times...

Just move on to the next friend. That's what I do.

My grandma passed away recently so I haven't been too talkative. I still read your post and replies :)

I just haven't been myself since she passed away. June 21st was brutal.

I'm sorry your grandma passed away. You must have been close to her.

To be honest, my best friend was a Persian cat when I was 15.

Really, I would just move on to the next friend. It's not always YOU who caused these people to "ditch" you. It just might be because these people have their own problems.
