Ever have one of those days you wish you could start all over again?

Yes.

If you want an answer with more substance, elaborate.

All the time LOL

I feel like I've wasted at least half my life.

Sometimes there is a moment in a day that blindsides me, out of nowhere while I'm on my walk I see the friendly and sweet waitress who has served me lots of times in a Chinese restaurant. But she's with another woman and they're both with severely disabled people, probably at work supporting them. I wonder whether to say hello but I get closer and can't make up my mind, then once I've passed her it will look stupid if I go back, the moment has passed.

It's that kind of thing.

Okay, yes, I understand that.

Why didn't you say hello?

Fear of being accused of behaving inappropriately. And of now I would talk to her while another woman was with her.

Is there another kind of day?

That's the story of my life (and other people here too). Short-term, uncountable times; and long-term.

I'd rather just go into a coma. Maybe I'll win lottery and can afford s medical induced coma. Since emotion killing drugs don't exist. Redoing my day wouldn't help.

Wish I could have a life redu but that wouldn't help either.

Some people say whatever life throws at you there are opportunities. I try to look at it like that. If I achieve even just one thing a day, learn something about history I never knew, find out how to unblock my toilket by checking on YouTube, see a beautiful bird in the marshland nearby, then it hasn't been a wasted day.

I just started making friends this year. Part of me wishes I had started earlier. Another part says if you hadn't had become so depressed you would have never made friends.

I try to use my mistakes to my advantage, turning them into an opportunity to write a book or help others in certain situations or just using them in other ways to turn it into an opportunity. For example, if I get unfairly told off by someone I can turn that into an exciting thing where I get to debate, or if I have to spend a day alone I can focus on my writings... every crisis... everything, actually... is really an opportunity.
