I'm just never going to be good enough for anyone. I get this flicker of attraction from guys, but it never grows into anything.

I just feel like rubbish that no one wants :(

Maybe I have really awful hair or maybe I'm too fat... I don't know. Maybe I talk rubbish and talking to me is dull. Maybe I'm too negative. Maybe I'm getting too old.

I can't sleep. If I could just go to sleep o might feel better.

I was happy. And it was good for just a little while

I’m sorry you’re feeling this way.

I know you are not rubbish.

I know you are not fat.

I know you’re a good conversationalist.

Your possible problem: you’re too darn choosey

Choosey is good!

Don’t ever settle just because you want to get married.

Ending up with the wrong guy is far worse than ending up single.

Have you talked to your doctor about the trouble you’re having with sleep?

I take something for sleep and it makes all the difference.

I agree. Choosey is good

But I still feel it’s more of a reason than any “bad qualities.”

I'm not choosey though. If anything I fall too easily and end up not being reciprocated.

It's only tonight I can't sleep. I just got rejected today.

Unfortunately, it takes time finding the right person.

If they can't see what a catch you are, it's their loss.

Hope you feel better soon sweetheart.

I'm so sorry you are feeling lousy. I hope you can get some rest and get your spirits back up.

Thank you all for your kind words.

Without going into specifics there was a huge misunderstanding and things are not as bleak as I thought.

Rejection really sucks, big time. I've experienced it many times. It's unfortunate that many people can't see beyond the surface of one's lack of social slickness, and see a fine character of someone who is generous, kind, gentle, creative, intelligent, etc. I'm speaking in generalities here, because I don't actually know you. I'm glad to hear that you and this person have cleared up a misunderstanding.

This happens to me too. I'm glad it is moving in a positive direction.
