In the interest of transparency

A mod has informed me that some people like to report my posts “all the time,” and it doesn’t help moderating the forum that I reply to their posts publicly vs report them for their insults & personal attacks.

So, change of personal policy, even though I have a thick skin and can tolerate others’ negativity, it’s been suggested to me that it’s better to report posts than respond to them. Consider this fair warning that if you think it’s acceptable or appropriate to post insults or personal attacks to me, or outright fabrications about me, I will no longer respond and feed your trollery on the forums. Instead, I’ll simply click the report button and let the mods do what they do to teach you how to behave and communicate civilly without resorting to abusive language.

I've never reported you, jsyk, but I did half-seriously consider it when you offered to send me those drugs in the mail.

I don't always agree with you, Goldy, but WP is certainly more interesting with you around! I'd hate to find out that you've fallen victim to the Banhammer of Doom!

Also, please, by all means - disagree with me all you want about anything. Engage in debate and discussion about it, though, not, “F U bcuz reazonz.” So much more productive & valuable conversations can happen that way.

FTR I’ve reported one post, ever, after letting a particular user know that I would be reporting their rule breaking posts from now on, and then I posted to say I’d reported their flame bait. I won’t be making posts to say I’ve reported anything in the future. I’ll simply report it and leave it at that. I’d really rather not have to report anything, though, and I certainly don’t want anyone “walking on eggshells,” anxiously assuming they’re going to be reported for making a simple joke at my expense or whatever. But if people think it’s okay to post a bunch of insulting/offensive things to or about me, I’ll report them because clearly calling out that behaviour on the forums hasn’t resulted in people stopping. It seems that if you give an inch, they take a mile, so, no more inches. Just be decent human beings to one another and all is well.

But I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s some Agenda 21 human depopulation s**t. Or if it’s gov’t sponsored and simply intended to make people nervous, anxious, fearful, depressed and therefore easily controlled.

But you’d have to ask Monsanto why they’re doing it.
