Can lack of vitamin d make you tired all the time?

My sister doctor says she’s vitam d deficit and prescibed her some.
Maybe that’s why I’m tired all the time. Guess due to the weather here most people are but then I hardly leave my house.

It's probably largely to do with your diet, and maybe lack of sleep if you tend to sleep less than 8 hours per night

That could be the reason. Maybe you should get tested.

I usually get 8-10 hours. I wake up then feel tired few hours later.

Blood test, it's very easy. Don't start taking any supplements till you've had the test. It could be lack of D, mine

was a lack of iron. Make sure the test includes B12.

Like Fluffy said, don’t try anything until you get tested. The winter days are pretty short and dark where l live. My doctor prescribed a special “daytime” light for me. It’s very very bright. It helps with the vitamin D. I have it by the computer and use it while I have my breakfast. It definitely helps beat winter depression.

Yes, i've had the same condition. I ate Vitamin D pills for 2 weeks, along with some others.

It can get pretty dark here up north with very little sunshine.
