Someone owns this stupid dog in one of the houses near our apartment but I'm not sure which. But for the last 4 hours the dog has been barking nonstop. It's bark is high-pitched and annoying and I don't know which yard it's coming from. The thing barks for hours nearly every morning and evening and I'm sick of hearing it. Doesn't it get ever tired of barking nonstop?

It just goes on and on and on, barking twice a second and not even pausing for air. Why do people even have these breeds of dogs where all they do is yap at everything? How can you possibly bond with this thing and call it your pet? It sounds like these people who own it just have it for the sake of having a dog but just leave it out in the backyard most of the time because they can't be bothered with the thing.

How do you deal with a neighbours constantly barking dog?

It probably never gets taken for a walk so it's bored out of its' mind. If you can find out whose dog it is, I'd then write them an anonymous note threatening to take the matter to the council if they don't deal with it themselves.

Hopefully you'll get a bit of a laugh out of this:

I'd go to the Council asap. The dog wardens around here used to be really good... but that was before ten years of austerity... but worth a try anyway. Sometimes they may ask... have you tried having a word with the owners? To which my answer would be... wot? And get a earful of abuse or maybe get stabbed? That's your job.
You could try asking them politely but you'd have to judge that one yourself.
Good luck.

My girlfriend's family had a dog when Cass was little but they had to put him in a shelter because their neighbor threatened to kill the dog because of it's barking even thou his dogs barked even more than Cass's dog did.

Google "Bark Free". I have one right outside my window, pointed at the neighbor's back yard.
