I'm sorry. Life is hard. Is it possible for you to have a bit of a lie down?

There's a single sentence in my head that keeps me going, through thick and thin. It doesn't help me succeed, or help me cope, but it stops me doing anything drastic:

I've come this far, put up with this much crap, I'll be damned if I'm giving up before it all pays off.

I don't know if it'll help, but... I find that defiance keeps me going when all else fails.

Can you please specify or talk more about what's stressing you?

The aspie way of thinking has its positive aspects too. It's natural to obsess about failures when everyone treats you like a freak (and your medical labels say so too) while still requesting more than you can give. Even if you were NT, you would still feel pressured and misunderstood and lonely more or less often. Don't compare yourself to others too often, because:
1) they're not perfect either, everyone hides behind their social masks,
2) they can function better in everyday life, but everyday life is not too great,
3) they have annoyed you, and that gives you a very legitimate reason not to be like them.

You could try to recall positive things about the way you are. People in the spectrum are sometimes able to spot patterns and details in their environment that others don't notice. As an aspie, you probably know much more about some subjects than most people do.
