in order to come home my mother made me promise to take this stuff and swear i had no problem withit. if get caught by my parents or the program i now attend they will be a problem. what kind im not sure. my understanding of the law is that my rights now no longer exist as a pracitcle reality. when i was nearly caught spitting it out my mother start to scream and yell and make threats of throwing me out on the street and having nothing to do with me. what a person in my position does not need is strife. everytime i had conflict with my family it somehow let to my being hospitalized.
the big problem is this junk makes me not think. i just cant manage relationships or see out moves im gonna make. i not cabable of keeping my affairs strait. help

i think that there are many steps to take so that you can limit that kind of things' influence on you. for one, you may be able to ask to take something different but find the name of the one that is shorter acting. an example is that prozac lingers around in the body for like a week while for paxil, it is only about 24 hours. however, the downside to this is that paxil withdrawl is said to be so much worse than prozac. paxil withdrawl can cause mild psychotic symptoms and fainting spells. i took it for a month after i got out of the hospital about 6 years ago then i withdrew from it so that is how i found out. but i have had my blood free of those toxins for so long now.

find a psychdrug that isn't much of a problem for you. would you know what that would be?

hyperion I'm sorry you're having such a hard time! I know many drugs do make your head foggy and make it so hard to think. If you had to take the meds everyone's telling you to take, is there any others you could take in addition to help clear your head? I don't know much about psychdrugs.

I would think your docotrs or therapists would want to help you with the side effects of the drugs they want you to take! but I can understand not wanting to jeopardize your freedom by "making waves" so to speak. earthdweller's advise might be the best.

Why do you need that medicine in the first place? If you don't want to take it, then you shouldn't have to, unless you're a danger, of course.
