I have this annoying little problem where I'm scared of sounding stupid in my posts which will then make me give up.
I'm often scared that nearly all my posts will turn out looking like a scattered grammatical mess.
Whenever I keep correcting myself, I will end up getting so confused that I forget
what I was going to post in the first place.
And then just give up posting altogether.
But yeah, Writing was never my strength to begin with, and contributing to posts will often be a bit of a
a challenge.
/sigh
I envy all the other 16 year olds that write with ease, have perfect grammar, great
vocabulary and every other writing skill I don't have.

You sound fine. Please don't edit! :) I've found that the stronger I feel about something, the more I'm going to make mistakes of grammar and spelling. The bottom line is, who cares? Nobody here gives a hoot, just glad to hear from you. :D

I edit my posts constantly for grammar errors and to "make sure what I'm thinking is what I typed". Sometimes what I want to say comes out wrong and its taken the wrong way. I guess you can say, I read over my posts constantly trying to decide "if its just right"

I obsessively edit almost everything I post...it's one of my favorite stims :D. You've gotta be careful, though, that the thread hasn't moved ahead so far that your post is no longer relevant by the time you hit "submit"!

You sound like having almost the exact same trouble i have. I dont particularly worry about looking stupid, but choosing the correct words carefully, trying not to offend or mislead people etc. Also just getting some of my thoughts into text is frustratingly difficult some times.
