My days are the same five days a week, which I like. I go to course, come home, go on the computer etc. But I can't seem to connect with anybody and its really depressing.
At my course I don't get talked to all day by any other students (literally). And only when the tutor asks me a question. People do not even look at me, they walk into me as they walk passed me in the corridors and have no consideration of how much their noisey music on the radio annoys me. It's like they do not even comprehend that I am in the same class as them, let alone attend the course.
It's not that I am getting bullied, but just getting completely isolated from people, even when I am in a crowd of them. If I do say something to another student, they will generally ignore me, or just look at me and walk out of the room. I have no idea what I am doing wrong to make this happen to me. I am trying to do my best at socialising, but obviously it's still not good enough for anybody.
And worst of all, I had a meltdown at course and everyone was staring as I was rocking, I decided to get up and leave course for the day. The next day was just as bad as people said that the day before I looked "high on drugs" or "spaced out"
. No one understands autism these days and I hate the fact that I am being ignored because of my differences.
