try doing something new, go for a walk somewhere you never been before, volunteer at a shelter (human or animal), read a new book ... I find these feelings are because I need a change or to do something that takes me away from the usual that is causing the stress. I just go out and start walking in a direction I never been, look at the plants, animals, birds etc. and put life back in perspective. I found recently that it is interesting to sit at the arrivals in the airport and just watch the people meet each other and the joy on there faces, I make up stories about who they are and where they have been/are going.
Don't take life too seriously none of us will get out alive...

dont use alcohol to self medicate,it's the worst thing for depression.

I don't drink, but I agree about alcohol being the worst solution for depression.

I've been going through this for four weeks, now. I've been this way, since I've quit a job that wasn't a good fit for me.
