I went to a regular teen chatroom & all the ppl were making fun of me . they asked me your 20 & u don't have a life & stuff like if your 20 what are u doin in a teen chatroom. It's because I'm mentally 13 ok & chat with ppl my age I don't fit in with the regular 20 yr olds cuz we don't have the same interest I'm into things that younger kids are into it's hard for me I hate it. *cries*

I think they were just probably a little perturbed to someone who is 20+ yrs to be hanging out in the chat room. And I would imagine that it could cause some concern to some of their parents if they knew that older people were chatting on a chatroom for teens.

Not to offend or anything, but its just something you probably should be aware of. If you feel you must go to a teen chat room, its wiser not to reveal your age. Alternatively, you can find a young adult chat room or something, where you will at least run into people that are below the age of 20 (and you won't seen as out of place too).

I don't think people make fun of me as much as they used to. Most of those who do either figure out that I'm not weak or they grow up with life kicking them in the pants. I've seen it happen as I was going through high school. The kids that I thought I once knew had vanished. Life simply changed them. I'm no acception, for I have changed quite a bit as well.

Before getting here on WP, I didn't like boards and chatrooms because I didn't like people there and how they treat each other and others, and that being adults, I believe teenagers are harsher and meaner on the web, as online they don't get a real consequence, they might feel free to do and say things how they want to.
