Oh I'm cursed. Bullying.
Why? You know, I ask: why am I being bullied?
Talked to the teachers right away. I didn't know what else to do? It's close to the exams and I need to save up all my concentration to pass.
As soon as I draw attention to myself by participating in lessons, I'm bullied nowadays. I don't know why I'm bullied.
I mean, at the same time people like me very much. Not all people dislike/bully me. I have a couple of 'best friends' and they're a mixed bunch of the popular, the strange and the average likeable girls.
What reasons are there to bully people? I can't think of any. I mean, it seems to be something about what I do. Until I do something, people usually don't poke fun at me.

Becuase your different, it makes you an easy target. It also shows how imature and stupid the bullies are.

It's not your fault as it is theirs. Bullys pick anyone they can harm, either for building their weak, afraid ego up at someone else's expence, or just to get the thrill of being cruel. Bullies seldomly know any better. They think that such behavior pays, and because they can get away with it, that they will. The idea on their part, is to be over others.
I bet if you confronted them with the trueth about who they are, they would imediatly reply with more bad behavior and self defense. "Oh.. my .. God..! That is so $%#@ delutional! See everyone? You see what a little princess/moron/noob/ect. this little one is?" Which would only proove how they use abuse to build their own esteem.
I think it's good you told someone. I hope you do better than they do on the exam. If they fail, they will have a new problem in their own lives, and you wouldn't have to do a thing. Even if they look like they know the answers, they might not.
It can be difficult to do something about it. For me it helped a lot when I could take to somebody from 'outside'. And maybe a bit sad, but after a while I started to ignore some signals. Considering my social skills, I probably missed half of it anyway.
I hope you find a solution, finishing your exams with good results would be nice for you.

Bullies usually project their insecurities onto you. You can actually gain a lot of insight based on what they say.
What do they call you?

Bullies are weak...they bully others to make themselves feel strong. It's not your fault that this is happening. You see, it's a fact that aspies ARE different, we make easy targets for bullies...it's unfair, but it's just life.
Have you spoken to the school counsellor? I think it would be a good idea for you to do so, Sora. I hope this situation gets better for you and the bullying stops. I know how horrible it is.

i am in a similar situation. at uni i have a few good friends, most people (as far as i know) don't hate me but i am not particularly friends with them either. then there are a couple of people who pick on me. there is one guy who always comments on what ever i do, goes out of his way to do something that he knows i dislike (like scraping metal) & calls me names such as "window licker" (i don't lick windows, but even if i did what harm would it do him?). however i try not to let it get me down too much, there are plenty more people that are not nasty to me than are, & the main person that is involved as far as i see is only doing it to try & impress other people (he has even fewer friends than me) & i dont think it is working anyway.

One thing I found very helpful during middle school and which lifted most of the bullying off me was to simply joke around with them.
As in, when they come at you (always in a group dont they? its always 2 or 3 as if they needed reinforcements) and start picking on you..rather than let them do it take the initiative and make them look silly or joke with them.
One of the kids in my school used to come over every day and slam my locker door and make some stupid comments. So one day I took out the pins that kept the locker door connected to the hinge and the door was pretty much 'hanging' in there looking normal.
So the kids came over, I took a step back away from the door, the guy slammed the door...
and instead of swinging and closing it flew off the hinges and landed on the floor with a loud crash.
everyone stopped and looked at him and I just came along and said loudly something like 'hulk smash!!' (we were kids remember) and laughing.
From that day the guy left me alone. I think that some connection was made .. as if he couldnt bear to bully someone that had joked with him.
or maybe i just made him look stupid and didnt want to risk another incident. who knows.
but i tried using humor and even flipping insults back at myself in a joking manner.. like when they would say something like : 'out of my way weirdo' id say back ' weirdo moving out of the way!' and do an exagerated motion to move out of the way.
it hurts one's ego a bit but only after doing that a couple of times they would just stop bugging me. From the 9th grade onwards I was left alone pretty much.

1. Bullying is illegal in schools nowadays. It's not PC and they have to deal with it.
2. Out of sight, out of mind - most bullying happens in the playground - don't be there - go to the library or something.

Here its still legal sadly, I looked into it for a friend. The bill has not passed yet.

bullies are a complete waste of space that pick on anyone that sticks out cos they are stupid..
anyway victims should
1. ignore them.
2. tell teacher.
if does not work
3. tell counsellor
if that does not work
4. tell your parents so that they can complain to the principal
anyway in australia there is a book called Bully Blockers how to drive a bully crazy (or something like that). apparently it has some good suggestions that are funny.
Thanks you everybody for taking the time to answer. It make me feel better that people take time to read my post and respond to it!
I guess my situation is problematic though. It's not happening in the breaks or in the yard, it's happening right in class this time. They actually call me some weird nickname that 1. I don't know what's it supposed to mean and 2. isn't at all related to my name or my person, at least I see no relation. When screaming this name around in class doesn't work because I'm oblivious to it's meaning, they start talking about how weird, ugly and stupid I am supposed to be. So yeah, whenever I hear this name more trouble is ahead. IN the last school they went about all kinds of sex and dirty jokes. I know one and even that one makes me blush already, because although it's not true it's such a horribly dirty thing to say.
Another problem is: They're boys and in my school girls rarely talk to the boys or sit anywhere near them in class. They don't talk to me and they don't know me, I don't even know their names in return.
I wish I could outdo them academically, but I'm only low average to low in all classes, so this doesn't work either. They're doing well better in academics.
I try to ignore them right now. I have no trouble doing that, because it doesn't bother me (mostly because I don't get why they call me a name that's not mine?) unless they are too loud or try to bother me physically. <- I pray it won't come to these two like... always? The idea seriously freaks me out. I hate sensory id and autism for making me vulnerable like that.
I worked hard for getting along with my sensory issues and I can't stand the idea that some kids who don't know *four letter word* about it are a serious threat to all I've worked for!
I don't mind the insults, but because I show no reaction to it or a false reaction to it, peers always tried further and worse things. They already did that in elementary school. (I just remember they did it to the special eds kid in out class too.)
You know, I wondered about going to school with a shirt that says 'I'm autistic. What's your excuse?' and ask them whether they're bloody nazis for putting down people with disabilities. It's the worst thing to do to accuse a German person of being a nazi. It would likely cause an interesting uproar.
But since they're definitely not nazis and just stupid/childish/not right in the head, I guess this may be just overboard. My idea is childish, please excuse it, but I love how this accusation would frighten them.
It's not that long till school is out, about 2 months to go, but I wish people would leave me alone for these last two and critical two months. Alas, academics already prove to be very frustrating because although I do find all we learn quite easy, I don't fit in the school and the type of classes and thus fight hard for passing grades.
I'll talk to my autism specialist today and my teacher also said I'd have to talk to a school counsellor of sorts. 'The school counsellor'. Anything I should be aware of when I talk to such a person?
Last time I talked to a school counsellor about bullying, I was told the fault is my own and that I should be more self-confident, because she thought that I'm not very confident. Then others would leave me alone. I asked the counsellor whether I should kill someone to prove I'm quite self-confident, break someone's nose alternatively, because no matter what impression I make and what all I can't do I'm self-confident enough.
Problem is also that teachers always focused on what the kids said to insult me. People invading my personal space, knocking into me and screaming into my ears isn't hurting (neurotypical) people. Just ME, because I'm that weird.
Oh and, my teacher, the one responsible for my years, know I 'have something called AS/autism', but nothing else. The teacher already said that I should ignore the people who bully me, make it very obvious that I ignore their behaviour and I had to tell him that I don't know how to make 'an ignorant expression' because of my autism disorder.
So, er, in short:
I'm very worried that these people will think insults don't present them a satisfying response and that they'll try to exploit my sensory issues again.
