alright there was this contest for high school students to write screenplays, it on schools all over holland, and 5 screenplays were to be elected winner. now we have this course on school for cultural development, and there were various asingments you could do, most of these involved holding presentations and get grades for it the other option was participating in the contest, i hadn't writtin something for ages and i needed the grades so i thought hey, i'll just write something get my grades period, being the negativist i am i never thought i would be one of the winners! my teacher already told me that my piece was brilliant but i thought she said it to make me feel better (being the depressed person i am) now there were a number of extra courses and some assignments to read in order to help the participants to write their piece, i didn't use any of those it just took me 3 hours to make it, i think it sucks, but i've been proven wrong. and now local newspapers want to interview me, ME! i hate being anywhere near the spotlight, but then again i can't just tell em to get lost, so i decided to go through it all.

any tips

Do it! Who knows, this might be the start of a writing career - Susan Hinton wrote her first book at sixteen. Best job I can imagine, spending time at home with your computer, making up stuff.

thanks, but i already decided i should go i just wanted tips on how to get through it. i already asked someone to be with me during the interview so that'll probably help.

oh i'm starving for attention love and stimulation, just not in this way. i'd rather have some trustworthy people on the same wavelength as me. people who are really interested in me and people who i can be interested in. i starve for a more personal quiet form of attention.

A tip for you: Try not to be anxious. If you are anxious when being interviewed, it increases the chance of saying something stupid. Newspaper reporters are also known for "twisting peoples words"...so be careful what you say.
