People are really stupid. >:x

Today,I was at the mall and these teenage boys started to scream obscenitites at me and kept saying that my white cane was a metal detector. They didn't even get in trouble.

As a "glass half-full" type as well as a science student, I would have taken advantage of the situation - and the cane - to "self test," if you will, my knowledge of the lower digestive tract, namely the rectum and colon. Granted, white probably is not the most preferable color for such an anatomical endeavor, but alas, the pursuit of knowledge knows no bounds.

What a bunch of jerks. One of them was just trying to impress the others, no doubt. I wasn't aware that canes were funny in any way, but pre-pubescent cattle can be confusing at times.

I hate to tell you this, but it has been proven scientifically that half of the people on this planet has an IQ below or equal to 100. It seems like maybe those kids were on the wrong side? lol
